Q. What is the difference
between Typequick for Students and Typequick Professional?
A. Typequick for Students has an animated adventure
built into the famous TYPEQUICK structured course.
Students set off on an interactive adventure with
Kewala around Australia visiting new places and
meeting new characters as they learn the keys of
the keyboard and evolve new typing skills. It's
full of interesting challenges, bonuses, adventures,
animation, music and fun. Typequick Professional
is a more formal course. It has sound and some animation
to simulate correct finger usage but it does not
centre around an adventure nor does the text typed
build a story.
Both courses contain the same proven learning techniques,
effective remediation and instant feedback. Both
courses contain a learning the keyboard course,
speed and accuracy courses, keypad course and punctuation
course.
Both courses can be used with users from 6 years. |

Q. Does TYPEQUICK use a structured, recognised
teaching method?
A. The student is guided thought the logically planned
and structured course. This avoids the anxiety inducing
choices found in other typing programs. Exercises
are mainly sentences with limited random letter
drills. The course is used by over four million
people in 11 countries. It is internationally acclaimed
and used by teachers and professionals in over 3,000
schools, colleges and universities. |
| |
Q. Do your courses teach posture and correct
finger positioning?
A. Yes, as we believe it is essential. The first
lesson tells them all about it. A section in the
online help also teaches health and typing posture.

Q. I failed with another typing program
so maybe it is too difficult to learn?
A. Unfortunately most other typing tutors drill
and kill any enthusiasm to learn. They have low
grade games tacked onto boring exercises which might
interest someone for a few minutes. They often offer
the user too many options so they jump around the
course instead of following a structured path. Learning
to type with the TYPEQUICK system is one of the
easiest skills to learn. It's not just a software
program. People of all ages with big and small hands
have learned. TYPEQUICK really works quickly. It
is even guaranteed! |
| |
Q. What guarantee does Typequick offer?
A. If within 30 days of purchase, and after completing
all TYPEQUICK lessons, you have not improved your
keyboard skills then simply return the TYPEQUICK
materials, a printed proficiency statement, your
purchase receipt and the reasons for your dissatisfaction
to Typequick for a full refund. |
| |
Q. How many people have claimed on your
money back guarantee?
A. We guarantee to teach you to touch type. More
than 99.999% of our clients have been completely
satisfied and learned to type in the specified period.
Fewer than fifty people from the four million+ users
have asked for their money back because they have
not learned to type. |
| |
Q. I have completed the TYPEQUICK course
and want a certificate?
A. As we are unable to test you under test conditions
Typequick is unable to issue certificates. Most
employers would accept a print out of your results
or Proficiency Statement where it states the lessons
completed and your average typing speed and accuracy.
If necessary there are many colleges that can test
you under test conditions. Contact Typequick for
details. |
